What to do with new tank cleaning product idea?

I've got an idea for a product to help clean algae covered glass.

I'm constructing a working prototype right now, but have hit a wall, and don't know what my next step should be.

The market seems pretty full of all sorts of gadgets and junk(magnet cleaners, scrapers on a stick, or just good ol elbow grease and a brillo pad), but I haven't seen my idea yet.

Is there a good place to thoroughly search all the products in this category?

I think it would be targeted more towards a commercial setting, for heavy buildup removal, at zoos or research facilities.

I've googled away for hours, but haven't really found any deep archives. I would hate to spend any more time or money to discover it's already made somewhere, or has no market.

Have you checked for patents? It sounds like you need to start digging in deep and see if there are designs like this out there. A Google search may not wield this information. You may have to get in contact with the patent office.
