You ask me, I say go straight to Meds. 2 or 3 days of water changes and no positive signs is enough for me with his status.
I would use this stuff (ive used it with Bichirs, Armatus and barbs)
Honestly it took about 2 packs to see results in my case with my Ansorgii.
My guy was swimming like he had a stick in his bottom. Half way from his body down he was stiff as a nail and half way up (towards his head) he was normal. He finally tilted and was a gonner... went straight to this and i think it might have taken so long due to catching it and reacting so late.... but good thing is I was able to save him (currently still have him and was the only one sick). I had him in a 50gl half full to maximize on the expensive Med (in my case it took 5 freaking boxes at 17.99ea

What was wrong with my guy, I think it was a feeder from the seller or maybe he had an internal parasite that could not be seen till he stiffed up
