AT should accept pellets without any problems..
In your case, what you can do is to do the usual thaw half a cube of BWs and mix in maybe 2 small pellets. Drop the whole buffet in. Gradually more pellets less BWs.
In fact, I am using ATs as a teacher fish everytime for my other Indos to get them onto pellets.
Needless to say, all my Dats are eating pellets now. The AT did successfully assist me to convert two 5" Indos off live.
While being a good teacher fish, the AT himself is only at abt 4" now and packing in some mass himself.
