RTC are one of the fastest growing sob's in the aqua hobby.Ex: A buddy of mine bought a RTC at 2inches literally too looked 1.5" to me, from 2" to almost 3" in a month and 4.5" by the 1.5 months. and it goes on and on. now at 2.5" a lil over 2 yrs old and I'm telling you the fish is stunted. In the wild it would've been huge. Key is unlimited supply of food. And at juv state live food or food with high protein or lots of fish like tilapia, shrimp..etc. Definately use pellets only as supplements as it's not the best. Massivores are too expensive for cats as cats eat way to much and it's cheaper to get tilapia fillets or fish fillets and cut according to fish size.
