I'll have to remember that one... there is a yappy little bugger down the street I think I could kick into the tank one day ;) comes and poops in my yard every second day... and the owners REFUSE to keep him locked in the back yard... which around here is actually illegal I might add...RTC revenge?:headbang2

I'm stopping to feed my RTC market shrimp cause it made the water cloudy as it vomits everything it eat the next day.. My TSN died because of this.. Now I'm feeding my RTC feeders and the sinking pellets only..

WE HAVE THAT TO!! This lady has 3 fat min. pins. and they crap in our yard ALL THE TIME! she lets them out of the yard to run around and poop everywhere. I was even standing out in my yard and she was at the street letting her dog do that in my yard and didnt even pick it up! Im going to let my two huskies out to take care of those things and to poop in her yard while they are at it!

:grinno:sorry.... I got a little carried away

It's much worse to feed feeders because of the potential for parasites and diseases. If your rtc got sick you are feeding him too much. They only vomit when they are sick, the water quality is bad, you have fed them too much, or you have stressed out the fish. If moving the fish to a new tank it can become stressed and vomit as well. In a large enough tank you would barely notice the vomit anyway. You would just see some floating debris on the top. Shrimp I will argue is the cleanest most natural food to feed rtc for health and color. I've never had a catfish get sick off of eating shrimp just because it is shrimp. Overfeeding seems to be the number one cause of vomiting catfish, then stress, then water quality, and moving. Feed only until he has a nice bulge not til he's about to pop.
