What To Fill Marineland Emporer Media Container With?

Someone please help out a newb. What should I fill the media containers w/ in a Emporer 400? I will be running 2 of them on a 72 bow front.
Carbon? Bio-rings?

probably not carbon, but i thought marineland emporers use specialized packages that includs carbon and filter floss?

Thanks for the reply. They have 4 slots (2 on each side). They do sell the replacement cartridges you're talking about, but they also have a container to hold media of your choice.

oh ok, well since emporeres RIP at bio with the biowheel thing i would say either mechanical or chemical since yuo dont have to really worry abot bio with marineland hobs.
