Ugh. I found a place to keep my new GT until my tank is ready. Went to the LFS and the entire tank of GT's had Ich. I was not happy.

Ask if yo ucan have them for free

Salt and heat should clear it up. But GT's are pretty parasite prone when young. They need lots of clean water (all fish do, but GT's seem even a bit more sensative).

Thats good to know. From what I read these fish should be good as long as they treat the correctly. The lady in the fishroom asked if I needed help and I told her that I was coming in to buy a GT but they all had ich. I don't even think that she noticed until I had said something. She said something about that they beat up on each other so much that they get stressed and get ich. After that I went and looked around the store and when I came back to get another look she had a "DO NOT SELL" quarantine sign on the tank.
