I'm considering getting rid of my community in my 120 tall and getting a single fish, or two fish in there. The dimensions overall are 48 x 18 x 32. Filtration is an FX5 and Mag 350.

If I could find one, I would get a snakehead, but I heard there's some rules about having those lol:D

I already know what I don't want. angels, discus, severums.

I already have a severum, ornate bichir, senegal bichir, and ropefish in my big tank.

I'm considering an oscar, but I have already owned them and would like to try something new.

Thanks!!

also forgot to mention that it has eco complete, plants and driftwood. But the plants can easily be relocated to my other tank.

I personally would say a Jag, but your footprint probably wont allow it. Maybe something else from the Parachromis family? If not then maybe pikes? It really depends on what you really want, search the forums to see if any specific fish catches your eye and then do a little more research on it.

I've been doing some looking. Finding some fish that just wont work, or wouldn't appreciate a tank with dimensions like this. I'd prefer a fish that would use the whole tank, or even stay more on the bottom half.

btw subykid, I drive a black 05 wrx lol :)

what do you personally like..causee pike, oscars, red devil, midas?..

I love the personality and individuality of oscars, and currently am thinking of getting one for this tank. But, again I'd like to possibly try something new. I kind of like wolf fish but don't know if there is a kind that can live in my tank comfortably.

i had a feeling uld like a wolf fish :D
Erythrinus erythrinus
stay small and look the best imo
