I've been doing some looking. Finding some fish that just wont work, or wouldn't appreciate a tank with dimensions like this. I'd prefer a fish that would use the whole tank, or even stay more on the bottom half.

btw subykid, I drive a black 05 wrx lol :)

Had a black 05 then traded it in for a black 06

i had a feeling uld like a wolf fish :D
Erythrinus erythrinus
stay small and look the best imo

I personally was looking into this but I could never find one around me. Rainbows are probably the best looking Wolfish and only get around 9". I also think Oscars, Midas, Festae, or RTM would be a good choice for your tank.

you could just order the wolfish online, i was planning on doing this but then decided it wouldn't fit to well with my stock

the male rainbow wolf fish looks great!! Who sells these online? Would I be able to keep another fish in with one, or are they best kept singularly?

100 feeders and some black sand.

Pike cichlids.. I"ve kept Oscars and other CA/SAs and african in the past.. but recently I picked up some pikes.. These guys blow my Oscar and other cichlids away. abit harder to maintain then some other species.. but worth it.

Smarter, more active. they utilize the whole tank. some really beautiful species out there if you don't mind spending a few bucks. I have 2 venezuelans and 1 C. Proteus ( dwarf species) both have become the spot-lights of the tank for colors and personalities. the dwarf I keep with some bichir and a tire track eel, the vennys live wit 2 florida gar and 3 fire eels. I've found them to be docile/tolerant towards non-aggressive fish, but aggressive to any challengers. But mine are also young and not mature yet.
