Hey, im getting one, maybe 2, new 25 gal tanks.
I would like some suggestions on what *FISH* to put in it
These will be more of a tank for my family until i get back home. (im living in the dorms right now)
So i would only be able to do a lil maintenance on the weekends. (until i get home for the summer-may 14)
What are some cool fish i could put in each of the 2?
I would love to do exodons in one of them or maybe some d. puffers.
So any suggestions for the second one?
Thanks!

lol thanks, i can use that as a sump for my 29....

but i guess i should say "WHAT KIND OF FISH" should i put in a 25?

Small loaches and garras perhaps. I was hoping for snails.;) Let me know if you want loaches in there and I'll run you a list.

Well, for a 25g, Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki and Yasuhikotakia nigrolineatus fit the bill. If you don't want nasty ones, avoid the skunk loaches (Yasuhikotakia morleti). There are Schistura balteata, Schistura corica, Schistura savona and Schistura obeini that will fit there. Most schisturas tend to be a little territorial so you'll need to give them a few boulders to establish their territories. If you like placid ones, Pangio sp. fit the criteria. They're best kept in a large number as they tend to shy away in small groups.

If you like colorful garras, Garra flavatra and Garra bicornuta are a few that you might like. They prefer cooler waters and can coexist well with the aggressive loaches despite the fact these garras are not aggressive towards any other species but only themselves. Garras are not loaches contrary to popular belief.

mybe some barbs there a good fish that dont need a lot of care

Thanks for the list!
But im not too sure if they would like those too much. Im trying to find something fairly colorful and active that will keep the mom and sister's interest.
Any other suggestions?
and i know im being picky but i dont want a really common fish that you can get in any petco/smart.

I was kinda thinking a ram or two?
and a couple of others fish to go with them.
