What to put in a 55 gal?

I am fixing up a 55 gal that I just bought on Craigslist and I was wanting some ideas of what to put in it.
I am leaning toward a singe specimen CA with color and personality.
Any suggestions?

Oscar, by far the most personality a fish can get and you can get some really nice ones like mine as well haha?!

Oscars get way too big for a 55. GT all the way.

A 55 gallon (europe) tank is perfectly ok to keep an oscar in as long as weekly w/c's are performed!!

I personally havent but my father has kept them, actually think he still has a pair in a 200 gallon tank at home! I agree that they are a beautiful fish but defo dont have the same personality as an Oscar imo?!
