What to put in my Eheim Pro II

Oh most definatly. Its the best you can buy, well almost, Eheim do a pro version but it doesnt give you anymore bio space. Its easy to see how you thought it looked like gravel but its actually a siniterd glass product.
Well I guess I'm an idiot. Good thing I saved it.
No your not an idiot, it does look like gravel, but now you know and youve saved yourself some good $$$$$ 
I have never used Eheim filters before. I got this one as a fluk. I found an ad that wanted someone to pick up a fish tank for free. I called went and picked it up. I got a 75 gal with an enclosed stand, that filter, a stealth heater, a 48" light with 40watt Aqua ray bulbs, and enough chemicals and food to last me forever. I don't use a lot of flake. But I have plenty.

As far as food goes check for any use by dates or even just bin it and buy new food. Once opened food starts to draw moisture and can get mould building up in it, also the food starts to loose its nutritional value.
