I am looking for a fish that doesn't get too large that shoals.
I have a 200 gallon tank that I am slowly planting. And I want to add some color, but nothing large or aggressive.
Please comment with ideas!
Thanks

Silver dollars are a flashy shoaling fish. Some of the tetra species shoal and have nice colors. Could go with a big group of fancy guppies too.

Go with like 50 red eye tetras, or serpea tetras
Neon rosy barbs are pretty cool too.

How about a school of 50 tiger barbs? They are mini piranhas in my opinion.

Tiger barbs.

Love mine:)

Either that or a ton of tetras & about half as many fancy guppies.

edit: 25 tiger barbs, 10 green tiger barbs, 50 neon tetras (or other small tetras)

Not a big fan of barbs, no offense, my buddy has a few. I am liking the idea of tetras, but soooooo many to choose from.

In my 210 I have 20 Columbian, 9 Diamond, 6 Lemon, and 6 Serpae Tetras.

I like the Columbian Tetras a lot, but the Lemon Tetras are really starting to color up nicely as they grow.

These are all deep-bodied Tetras, the Columbian and Diamond Tetras grow up to close to 3", while the Lemon and Serpae Tetras max out at a little over 2".

Lemon Tetra shoal really well but Serpae Tetra may add more color depending on what you want.
