Iv tried. Last time it was weighted down for close to a year and still floated when they were taken off.

wow a year and still didnt water log... thats a record!
longest one for me was around 9 months lol you should
drill some holes in it and force water log it that's what i
do with some of the pieces. i mean if u want it to sink
anyways.
