What to stock in a 115?

I think this is a good idea! Both Discus and Angels are beautiful fish, especially when kept in appropriate numbers in a nicely aquascaped aquarium. But it doesn't sound like your cup of tea. A tank of HRP or Convicts would look nice as long as you didn't keep too many pairs. They are so prolific that even with other fish added to control numbers, you can still end up overrun with juveniles which in turn would also begin to breed. I think a tank like that would be good with two pairs with a couple of schools of robust Tetras.

Another idea would be a pair of the smaller species of Herichthys as a centerpiece. There are some nice ones to choose from.

I do have a 12" rtc and 14" tsn in my pond. I say both can eat atleast 50 feeders in one feeding

Nice, an RTC and a LSN are serious fish.
 
I have a very good friend of mine who has 3 breeding pairs of convicts in a 5' aquarium. They each take a third of the tank and defend from the other groups. I saw once all three had spawns at one time, he said its not that uncommon for them to all three have a spawn. But one of the spawns was freshly free swimming, another about 3 weeks old and the other was about 2 mounths old. It was really cool to see all the diffrent sizes of fish being tended to. One of my favorite setups I ever saw. Good luck and hope to see pics soon. Happy fish keeping :)
