What to Stock in a 155 bow?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hey thanks for the offer. I actually have a nice 6-7" one i caught in Peru also. He would also be one to go in the tank. I just shipped in some Central Americans veija types, dovi etc..
I put a 6" pair of Synspilum in there to start yesterday.

I'd center the tank around something like a blackbelt and some smaller cichlids to fill in the rest of the stocklist

Are you a fan of an loaches? Maybe clown, or any other botia's would work. I have often seen them kept with cichlids of all types. Or maybe a few yellow labs, they are in my opinion if properly cared for one of the most beutiful cichlid's. They can become such a bright yellow, add some color to the tank, you know. Good luck though, hope it turns out nice.

Nice choice. I like the idea of a "Veija" styled tank. Very colorfull fish. I have a tank now with.
2 Synspilum
1 Argentea
1 Maculicauda
1 Bifasciatus

There is a small schoal of clown loaches and silver dollars in there.

They squable some time but nothing major and they look fantastic.

Also what is nice the cichlids and silver dollars have similiar dietary requirements.

GO Vieja!
