What kinda' shrimps are good? And for all the above mentioned, is 22 degrees okay or can i remove the thermometer. What would you feed them? I'm afraid the fishes might not see floating stuff because the plants take up a lot of surface area.

There are alot to choose from.... ie cherry shrimp, crystal red shrimp, black shrimp.

You should check out planetinverts.com and read up on the types of shrimp that are out there
