what to use for netting big fish

I use a catch and release trout net that I bought at Cabelas.

For 2' fish I use a big ol catfish net but I put a black garbage bag inside so the net doesn't hurt the fish.

Large plastic bag I've been doing it for years and never once damaged a fin or lost a lyre tail or streamer even on 20"+ fish

My biggest net is 18" x 16" triangle shape. Has a telescoping handle to 33". The front rim of the net is rubber made to flex. Looks just like this one

Hmmmm, maybe a pillow case with holes cut in it to release the water out for moving would work... Ya just a reg fishing net seems like it would hurt the fish which I don't wanna do, what about say the kids fishing net's ? They have a smaller styled net but it more closer to a fish net sold in LFS...

And places like home hardware sell pond nets that are a nice soft texture ? Or they rip easily with fish F1 lol

You can look for a rubber fishnet like this, I bought mine at the Sportsman's Warehouse.
