WHAT TURTLE IS OK WITH CICHLIDS AND

Ahhh, I remember when I was about 16 I had a tank full of wonderful clown loach and cory cats, one day I found a soft shell at the LFS for 20 bucks, how could I turn that down!

Put him in the tank and he proceeded to gobble up all of my cories and bite two of my loaches in half!!! Then he mucked up the undergravel filter by burrowing underneath the substrate, haha. Big mistake - wish I'd of known better.

I think i once saw a diamond back terrapin in a tank with cichlids before.

Placing any turtle in a tank with fish is aways a gamble. Sometimes you'll find that the turtle takes to chasing the fish for entertainment or bites at their tails etc. or worse yet figures they're edible. The other scenario is that if it is a big fish that it can cause the turtle problems. If you decide to go for it just keep an eye on it and don't be surprised should something happen.
