I will say yes. Great price and pick up indeed. Some shops are fare and some don't know what they have. Best not to school them until you get everything you want. :D I wish my LFS still was in the dark about Cichla. I ran my mouth to much and now the get them on a regular. And there prices were about in the range of $10-$20. Now nothing less then $50.

NO JOKE!!! Well then,,, my mouth is shut!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell me what the diffrences are between them(i mean the diff. in the types of bass)? All i know is that they have to order them from another country and it took them 4 weeks to get them in. Another question how long should i wait to feed them and what would you recommend?

Check out my thread for diffrences.http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=206292

I will get some more picture's. There are numerous PDA about each sp. The major diffrence are location of the perticular sp. There are a reported 19 different sp of Cichla.

It's all about the owner. Some love Mono others love Orino. Ocellaris is the third of the most common Cichla. Of course these three are the smallest of the easiest Cichla to obtain. All reaching 22''-24''(HA) ha = home aquaria. The tank must be big (300g) to house a pair AND EVEN BIGGER if keeping cichla in large numbers. I would say no more then 4 in a 300g.

All of it is a matter of choice and what colors you want to see. Tempermant is different in each sp as well. Tems being the bullies when adult's and realted sp to the Tem's ie Pinima, Xingu, Azul can be just as over aggresive. All there aggression is normal. Sometimes not very nice but the little guy's give it as good as they take it. Orinos are the monsters of the smaller sp and this is evident at a very young stage of life. Size is also key with most Cichla keepers and growth periods and how fast they obtain there full legnth. Hope this help's Sorry so long.

the first set really looked like the baby azuls I have been seeing but the 2nd set do look orino / mono who knows give them some time to shine
