Got them today, they eat and are well.
My first Frontosa.
But what can i expect them to grow in to, what type are they? if its possible to tell.
Nothing fancy i think, just from a pet store :)
The prettiest have both blue and yellow on them

:D
Burundi. They might be common but those quality stock definitely has some blue and yellowish tint on them fins.
Got mine locally from a Taiwan shipment.

I would feed them mysis shrimp and a variet of good quality carnivore pellets high in protein.

Thank you guys for so god answers :D
I have dreamed of frontosa for years, seeing a loot of frontosa information movies and reading about them, but its hard to get those i really want in my country, as al pet shops import from the same place.
My dream is one of the really blue ones, blue zaire.
But theese buruindi are colouring up very nicley with space, good food, and calm tank mates.
a couple of gobies, and a couple of large eyed mouth brooders.

I look for mysis in al the shops, they dont have it :S
But i feed quality cichlid pellets (2 types), and also malawi green food pellets (as the other tank makes need it), and artemia and black worms.

I saw some feed them raw shrimp, I will try that :D easy to get :)
I can even get small shrimp live from the sea, as i live by the shore :D

They are a very hungry and seem happy, they all have a little "fat" belly now, but i work on not over feeding them O:)
