what type is this Frontosa ?

Hi Just bought this Frontosa so it's coloring has become somewhat pale..only in new tank an hour.. but i would like to know what type this is? Thanks

That's a 7-Stripe aka Kigoma frontosa. Looks like he has lots of growing ahead of him.

Yep thats a seven stripe alright. The only ones you can really tell apart when they are little. That is a nice one you got there but it sure does look like it has got a lot of growing to do.l

Thank you for that information on the little bitty guy.. he is about an inch and a half... looking to buy a few others as time goes on.. and grow them up together..

I bought another Frontosa baby today from a different store.. paid a little more for an even smaller guy.. i think this guy is almost an inch..I like buying from different sources instead of getting all siblings.. hope i did okay with this one.

I'm curious to know if this fish has 6 stripes on the opposite side ???

From looking at the picture it looks like Burundi even though its showing 7 stripes .It could be possible that it might have been mixed with Kigoma "aka 7 stripe" or it could be split striping offspring from a colony of Burundi
