I didn't realize that when you were talking about Choctaw bass, so what you are saying is that Choctaw is the Neosho Smallmouths Muddy water twin?

Choctaw Bass belongs to the spotted bass complex group but let's say that Choctaw Bass do not hybridizing with the introduced spotted bass due to the habitat requirements. Same thing with Neosho SM and the introduced SM, they have different habitat requirements and they rarely hybridizing with each other.

I love it....thanks for the info Rebel, that sounds like a small side fact....but that's so huge when it comes to determinations on the viability of some of the fish that are only regionally based.
