yeah its def JD but looks like its stressed out or something or either really small, how big is it? and yeah i would guess female to because of the coloring on the lower gill plate, im pretty sure males' lower gill plates are supposed to be bare (but im not really experienced with these guys, i just know mine is female because she is totally crazy colored everywhere and has blue all over her gill plate, with JDs from the pairs i have seen the females color up just as well if not better than the males)
