imo
no pitbull in him not a hint of it light skin wrong shaped head and no wrinkles on the top of its head the ears are wrong to droopy
no boxer legs arnt long enough
id say thiers american bulldog, bullmastiff american staffy
but thats just my opinion you never fully know with adult x breeds

I love how you say that he's not a pit x boxer.
Cause the ears are too droopy? Boxers have big droopy ears.
Cause his legs aren't long enough? Pits aren't exactly leggy and can be downright stout.
A cross of both is most likely and the dog shows traits of each.

There is aboslutely no point in debating the issue of what he is, because he won't confirm it.

He is somewhere where we all placed him and a nice dog at that.

i agree 100%

to the OP;
Good to hear the dog is getting a caring home. he is a very handsome boy.

I dont know what your canine experience is so forgive me if I am just repeating what you already now; all of the breeds that your new dog resembles require a significant amount of mental and physical stimulation daily, get him used to recognizing your commands and that youre the boss as soon as you can. I'm sure once he is feeling well he will be bouncing off the walls!
