What type of fish is this ?

Really hard to find quality celestial pearls, alot of the farm raised ones come in pretty poor condition imo, they seem prone to mycobacterial infections. Once you been raising them a few generations, they arent bad

Same for rosy red minnows, you see them in any LFS for sale as feeder fish and they do look ugly in there but if you get a few and grow them out, selected breed down the line it's become a awesome color looking red rosy.

see, i don't understand it either cuz the ones from our LFS are filthy and diseased, but i can go get healthy ones from our local BAIT shop and they'll be fine - they can live in a 10 gallon w/ an air pump and WC once a week - i do it all Trout season from late March to June, then fire the Filters back up and use a bigger livewell and move to Bass Shiners, Creek Chubs, Suckers, Killifish, Darters, etc. Sunfish go in a different livewell
