how much do some of the larger fish go for? i don't ever want too be forced too move up too a bigger tank. id rather get a different type of fish and put in a different tank :) iv always enjoyed watching big fish eat there meal. !GULP!

depends on what large fish your looking for and how big of a home you can provide them

Eg. a peacock bass is pretty cheap but they grow quite big 2ft +

GET a chaca chaca <--- pred fish in small size and cheap too :P $15-$20 :D

or

Redfin wolffish, Leaf fish, butterfly fish, gulper cat (but gulper cat is expensive)

they are all small AND they are pred :D

doesn't salt water tanks cost allot more too maintain then fresh water? my mom told me that if its true I'm going too go with a fresh water fish. are there any fish that hunt in groups?

this is a butterfly fish right? they look cool how much would a tank too suit it cost? and how many of them do i keep?
sorry for double posting.

its takes awhile to set up a salt tank. first you need the water and salt (duh) loll. then you NEED to get live rock and maybe coral (:D) but that needs to be setup for at least a month before fish go in. plus marine tanks require better filters and lighting which will all run for more $$
