What type of flower horn do you think this is?? ID PLEASE

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ya I thought so. Meaning no black on the body, just a Red and yellowish fish. Still can look good but not the desired look that we all love or that I already have with my female that I love

Man I guess it is "different strokes for different folks" I love fader flowerhorn's and actively search for them at the fish shops. Your's is very nice looking too. If you do some research on here and the web you will see some very nice faded specimens. The ones I like the most are the ones that have blue pearling. Good luck with him.

Well here he is a little stressed from the move but I hope to see if getting the female around him and feeding him some nls and massivore will bring the best color and life in him and make his forehead grow large. Lol still next to my female he seems dull looking to me personally, I'm not a huge fan of the so called faders in many ways but finding flowers around here is not too common and this is a good start to see if I can get some fry. Thanks to the seller for letting me give him a try. uploadfromtaptalk1361985780185.jpg

What are most people using as breeding tanks?? I have this 55 gallon which he is in now and I have a divider for but I also have a 120 I could fit the two in and make a divider for it if needed. My Jack and her were always great in the same tank together should I think he will not be good with her or try it??
