What type of flowerhorn

If that was 6 months ago that's definitely a female it barely grew. You can get a male at full size by a year like 10-12 inches or more.

My female flowerhorn barely grows and I got her for free and she is ugly waiting for her to fade or something lol

I got mine for 8 bucks but it's pretty nice looking even for a female
 
New update most likely female since narrow and small kok about 8 months now anyone think they can tell type?

Hard to take good pics now moves around a lot doesn't pose for me anymore

Your flowerhorn has so much red devil/Midas blood in it. Faded and its body type all from that species. Get a male Texas and get a cool breeding project lol
 
If you want to breed it and get some nice fry stick with breeding it to something similar to it. Get another zz. That way a higher percentage of the fry will be good quality. Anytime you out cross something cool like this to a totally different genotype you either end up throwing away 90% of the spawn or you grow a bunch of ugly fish nobody wants to size.

Just pair it with a blood parrot or a King Kong like most do if you're strictly into breeding. I never buy fish to breed I like nice fish

Huh? How is he going to pair a female fh to a male parrot or kkp? They are infertile.
My comment was to clear up your bad advice on pairing it with a texas. Breeding worthless fish you can't find homes for does not make a cool breeding project. You will get 1 or 2 nice ones out of a spawn of 300 with this pair trust me. Get a male zz, you will get zz fry that everybody wants and you can see what percentage of the spawn fades like momma. Now that's a cool breeding project.
