The first time i saw a Gar was a Alligator Gar ( about 18-20 inches ), in the same shop about 18 months ago, and as soon as i saw it I said "got to get me 1 of them!!". So, I did some reading up on Gars, and was spellbound by ever aspect about then. So thats when I became fascinated by these beautiful, ancient fish, & Ive never looked back since.

gars are amazing arent they!!! so predatory and prehistoric looking! i know i love watching mine swimming around, hunting, and gulping air. not many dull moments w/ them!

yes, they are great to watch. my tank is in my bedroom at the (back living at my mum & dads at the min, long long story) so often find myself layin on my bed looking at the tank for ages and ages, sad i know, but so relaxing.
