What type of lights?

I have a 55 gallon with a set of 2 18" fluorescent lights. The bulb in both of them now are 2 wal-mart aquarium bulbs. What is a good quality 18" light for Africans?

On my 75 I have a high powered strip light so the colors are much better.

i use Zoo Med's flora sun. I switched from the orginal bulbs that came with the tank and BAM! they look way better.

Yep, only reason I didn't go with the 50/50 is because I can turn off the daylight bulbs and just run the actinic bulbs and have a nice "dusk" style hue and use it to accent light my living room.

i use a 10,000k and t-5 atinic look freaking awsome
