Thanks everyone. I guess I just watch him grow up and see. I have had many red's in my life and have never seen one that started out gold. The pictures don't show how gold he really is. Sounds like he will probably turn red as he grows according to everyone's experience. Should be interesting.

I agree. The picture above shows red in the fish. My fish has no hint of red at all. I will post pics in a few weeks.
