what type of raw fish meat could i give my fish?

tilapia is fine too.

Feed em any raw fish you want. Most likely the fish will die of a power outtage, a heater failure or most likely poor water quality. Its funny really, to think your fish are going to live long enough to be killed by poor nutrition....

Personally I suggest you avoide feeding freshwater fish to your fresh water fish. I feed saltwater creature to my fresh water fish because many of the illnesses that thrive in saltwater creatures don't transfer over to freshwater. This makes it safer. Even frozen fish can still carry parisites in most cases.

Also I steer clear of talipia as they tend to be raised in very poor conditions and have alot of illnesses until cooked.

There is a thread already regarding saltwater fish meat for FW fish meat so, if anyone wanna go argue that out, do this in this thread.

lol necro...

IMO, there's no harm feeding FW fish meat to your fish specially if they're piscivore. Well, most of the saltwater fish are smelly, and oily so... (in our place)

so so so negative. my water quality is on point and I have battery opertated bubblers on hand.....and the heater thing I doubt.

Killing fish through over-nutrition is much more common than from poor nutrition.

Feed a quality pellet. Maybe something else (shrimp, worms, clean feeders, etc.) once a week.

Skip feeding altogether a couple of days per week.
