They were just in there when I first got them..that's not their home

looks like the same type of gravel as in your temporary tank that you put them in after getting them. : just kidding they look fatter, guess they are doing a lot better, they are going to be monsters in your pond

They look like Baerii Sturgeon aka Siberian sturgeon. My parents pet store has 4 in stock right now. Look exactly the same.

if they are native fish the best way to determine species is to look at them from the bottom. the faces of the sturgeon are very different from one to the next, with mouth size/position as well as barbels. Here is a video our CD puts out to help with it
