Thats a warmouth. I have kept several

Warmouth or some people call them Goggle Eye. I have kept them. Great fish

Wish they were easier to find, I normally catch just 1/yr.

I agree on Warmouth. I've kept them as well, but generally smaller then yours there. In my experience, a bit more aggressive then some of the smaller mouthed species (bluegill, pumpkinseed, etc), but not as aggressive as full on green sunfish.
