What unique food have you fed your Flowerhorn?

FH are expensive. You should only feed them comercial fish food IMO. No live anything. If you want to a fish you can feed live food,don't get a FH.
 
Thank you all, you've simply made my point. Fishbum, FH and any other aquarium fish must be very expensive in Antarctica
 
Chingmix is the best food to feed them. Live food can get them sick some times based on my experienced. Try Earth worms from Walmart, feed them once a week with that. It's fun to watch:)

There are far better foods for FH than Chingmix, specifically those that don't contain soybean meal, or corn meal, two ingredients that I would never feed to a FH, or any other fish for that matter.

I'm simply pointing out that soybean meal, and corn meal, are ingredients that I expect to find in generic farm feeds, and certainly not in the "best" foods. I realize that you are now selling Chingmix, but if you are going to make such bold statements such as the one above, on a public forum, you best be able to back them up.

Perhaps you could start by explaining what role both soybean meal & corn meal play in providing essential nutrients to a fish?

The fish aren't expensive,but the shipping is.
 
We all have our opinions and though there are facts laid out, we all make our own decisions. To each their own...We are fortunate that we have the ability to live and think this way, with our own unique views and opinions !!! As for me, I am grateful for the ton of info I have received from everybody on this site!!
