Hey just a few days ago I got the best deal on fish tanks. I got a 29 gallon full equipt with filter, heater, undergravel filters and other accessories, and I also got a 10 gallon tank with the same things I mentioned and all of that just for 95 dolllars. At first it was all free but I felt sorry for the kid, I mean e spent more than 200 dollars to purchase all that and he didnt much got to used them. He had to move back to my country and he couldnt take all the tanks so he solded to me. So I just wanted to know what was the best deal you got so far on fish, and tanks and other accessories? was it better than the deal I got?

I bought a 285gal plexi tank for $160 and when I went to pick it up, I also was given a 72gal bowfront tank, covers, and stand. I also got a 500gal Wet/dry filter box and bulkhead fittings if I "Just get it out of my basement".
Another deal was $220 for a 350gal plexi reef tank (96x48x18). When I went to pick it up, the seller told me he had another one that he wanted to keep but, the wife said "Not in my house". I only had another $180 on me, in cash, so he took it and I got the 2nd tank also. No stands but, both have large double center draining overflows and all the plumbing.

55 Gallon, stand, lights, Fluval 403, 2 air pumps, automatic feeder, timer for the lights, gravel, gravel vac, and some water tests... for $100.
Was working at a local 7-11 when i heard a customer say his tank was TOO BIG. ya right! so anyways he came to the counter and i asked him how BIG BIG was and he said 300 gallons. At that point in my life 300 gallons was a dream. i told him i had an 80 and wanted larger. At that point he said trade me your 80 and 100 bucks and take the tank down and transport it and its yours. So my dreams came true only to HAVE THEM SHATTERED WHEN I MOVED OUT FROM MY EX. She kept the tank and my dog and i figured id never see them again. Low and behold i got a call about a year ago asking if i wanted to BUY the tank back. haha. Ya right pay for something you stole from me. so anyways i got it back free of charge. united once again. a lovely story with a lovely ending. haha
