During my rehabilitation following the strokes, a couple of friends took me fishing for bluefish and striped bass. Fishing was real slow but at least we were getting some. My line started paying out real slow like crabs were on my bait and taking it somewhere. I tried to set the hook and the line went thud as if I had hit a shell bed or some seaweed. I managed to continue reeling it back in and on the hook was a nice sized striper about 36"! The only problem with the fish was that it was dead (obviously) and had already been filleted! The tide had caught up the carcass and was making it move. All the guys were rolling on the ground laughing at it and still tease me about catching "skeleton fish"!!!
