What was you first cichlid?

Three 7-8'' africans, an M. zebra, L. trewavasae and an un ID'd victorian that I lost early on. My first CA was a jack dempsey, my first SA a wild caught oscar.

If you want to get technical my first cichlids were Angelfish when I was but a wee young lad, but that was when I though a 10g was huge, but since I got back into the hobby my "first" cichlids were my pair of red Sevs.

Let's see, first came betta mania, then the cories and guppies, dang it.
I think it was a deformed jewel cichlid. He had no upper jaw.
