Two Shubunkins around 5 inches each with beautiful long tail fins, after 6 years they died because of power outage in hurricane George..
My first fish went into the bathtub. I was in Dryden, Ontario, and a neighbour had brought home a small walleye and chain pickerel. I revivied them by putting them into the bathtub and running water through their gills. I had seen this on a black and white TV where divers were reviving sharks. It was 1959, and I was in grade 2! My dad was the most patient I had ever seen him!davo;1022504; said:Lets see who has come along way, or has jumped in at the big end! I'm sure there might be some suprises.
Couldn't find this thread anywhere and was suprised... It's fun to look back on how far you've come and how much you've learned. Some of us may still have your first fish.
My first tropical fish was a pair of dojo loaches and a common pleco... Yours?
Did have the old goldfish in the bowl when was so little I had to be picked up to help feed them... but I don't count that.
