just looking thru some old photos and cannot believe how far I have come in this hobby! So let's see em, if you don't have pics, stock and setup please!

I had a couple goldfish tanks, but this was my first real tank. 40 gallon with some SERIOUS compatibility issues, if I saw a fish at my lfs that I liked I bought it, I mean I had a HUGE 40gal ;)

No need to judge or criticize, let's have fun opening the memory books!

Ughhhhh lol mine wasn't to bad until I bought some silver dollars and they ate all my plants >,< ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1354239655.726727.jpg

I had Molly's, angles, upside downs, common pleco >,<, and some tetras in a 55 gallon while it was still cycling.

Whoops. I thought PetSmart had the most awesome fish...or so I thought and they were "so knowledge able"

No pics,but...

Started with a 10 gallon - goldfish and common pleco (yes I know now, bad idea in a 10g, he was almost 12")

Then 15 gallon (same fish as above)

Then 29g - jack Dempsey and black belt (again bad choice, very aggressive tank)

Switched 29g to Australian rainbows

Then 38g for the rainbows

Then 75g - first rainbows then Malawi cichlids

Then 135g- first tanganyikan frontosa and compressiceps then synspilum and black belt

Then 90g - clown loaches, rose queen, lyonsi, vulture catfish (current setup)

Now 180g!! - in progress for my soon to be big boys in the 90

My very first tank was a standard hagen 20 gallon freshwater setup using a aqua clear 50 hob filter stocked with community fish such as gourami's, rainbow sharks, swordtails etc. Sorry don't have pics of it. It was too long ago back in 1998.

My first tank from what seems like forever ago:

First Tank.jpg

It was 1 Comet and 2 Shubunkins in a very underfiltered 29 gallon tank.
Now my Goldfish have a 246 gallon, much better filtered home!
You live & learn!

A 55 gallon i loaded with RB pacus. I was only 15 at the time and had no idea what i was getting into. Luckily i found responsible owners later on for these fish.

Mine was a 75 gallon with a betta an Oscar 2 breeding jds s huge comet goldfish i caught out of my neighbors abandoned swimming pool and 2 gobys my friend caught in the river... Ended when i bought a snake head before the ban lol

I started when I was 10 and I'm now 22 so thats 12 years of fishkeeping!

5g hex with 3 goldfish and a weather loach
20g with assorted tropicals. Guppies, pearl gourami pair, algae eater and tetras
90g tangynikan cichlid set up.
90g swapped the tangs for central and SA cichlids
60g grow out baby florida gar and some peaceful cichlids
90g swapped for marine. Polenni Grouper, Panda Puffer, Fox face, Moray eel and picasso trigger
60g traded the gar and set up a second tank to juggle around my cichlids
60g converted and put turtles in there
90g accident caused total tank wipe out so covnerted it into a tank for a pair of breeding oscars and a lima shovelnose
60g planted peaceful medium sized fish community

moved country and sold all my tanks

70g Mbuna set up
7g swapped for marine and still have it
225g 5x3x2 cichlid community
225g traded all the cichlids in because I was sick of having fights and not being able to add stuff. Currently have monster peaceful predatory tank
I also have a 20 long grow out.

Thats my entire fish keeping history :P and thats just me, not including my family members
