What water conditioner do you use? Prime?

I'm interested to see what water conditioners everybody uses. I've been using Seachem Prime but I'm unsure if that's a conditioner that should be used for every water change. It removes ammonia along with chlorine and chloramine. But in a cycled tank, wouldn't that cause problems over time? Does it affect nitrifying bacteria? It also detoxifies nitrites and nitrates. Will this affect my plants ability to utilize the nitrates?

I don't know much about planted tanks but I've been using prime for years in freshwater and saltwater tanks with no issues.

I use prime in all my FW tanks, including my planted tanks. Never had a problem.

Prime once a week in planted and other fw tanks for 20 years now with no issues ever.

I've used the PetsMart brand water conditioner for years in several tanks, never an issue. It's cheaper than dirt and works.
