btw quick off topic question. For those in the armed forces, what is the policy on bringing "souvenir" weapons? Can you bring a fully dismantled AK, or something else?

Permanent reinstation of the '94 AWB.

Restrict CDW to retired LEOs only

Repeal the Tiahrt Amendment - This is a big one for me. This amendment only allows the release of Gun Records to Law Enforcement with a warrant. By repealing this Amendment, it will be public record who owns what, allowing criminals to cherry pick who they want to rob!

Increase Ammo taxes. I dont see the point in this. It takes one round to kill some one. An increase tax on ammo ONLY hurts the recreational/sport shooters.

There was a link on his transitional teams website but it only lasted a couple of days before it was taken down. In all honesty I think we have 4-5years, no person in their right mind would push that kind of agenda and expect to go for round two. He is smarter then that, sadly.

I forget the names of the various legislations on this but in a nut shell no.

Back in WWII our souldiers were bringing back everything from Lugers off of German Officers to full auto machine guns (after paying the appropraite $200 tax stamp just like today for FA) to Nazi K-98s. These GI bring backs are worth BIG $ because they lack the required importation marks that deface these peices of history when a company brings them in for commercial sell.

Saying that Ive seen soldiers bringing back things like Bayonets and AKM stock sets.

A soldier could make some good money bringing back nice laminate wood stock sets off an AKM. They can go for as much as $20 depending on country of origin and acondistion!

As someone who is neither pro gun nor anti we have alot of other problems besides guns. Without further derail please everyone be nice and mature. I'm all about ninja weapons. But someone I know owns a russian AK..

I agree that they arent on the forefront of an agenda but not far from it.

CDW = Concealed Deadly Weapon permit

AWB = Assualt Weapons Ban.

LoL I just got off the phone with my wife asking her if I could take the fish money and a small loan to buy a FA Uzi or Mac-10. She got mad and said no, we cant afford it. I told her we cant afford not to but...

Some one wnat to loan me about $4k for an uzi or about $1K for a MAC-10? I can only spend about $2k right now!
