If I were to leave the US for Canada, or any other country for that matter, it would be to live a lower stress lifestyle. Here in the US, and especially in LA and other major metro areas, we are taught that working harder, making more money, and acquiring more and better/bigger possessions is the purpose of life. I think a lot of us fail to appreciate life because we are working too hard trying to achieve the impossible dream.

A lady I know is moving to Argentina for that sole purpose, she is going to buy 10 acres and live off the land.

to build a 50k tank and fill it with asian aro's

The whole world is messed up now. Might as well stay in the states.

hmm, for all that free health care? How about that socialized health care that you pay a crap load extra in taxes for. Then again, event though you think it's free it's still not near as efficient.

Maybe to be a mountie, I just love those hats

Move to Canada? HA, yeah right! If I HAD to leave the US I'd head either south or to Japan.

agree. in canada it can take months for u just to see a doctor whos decent. I'll move to japan with u bradda

canada's not that bad lol.
depends where you live.
some places are over populated cause of certain opportunities
some are lacking in that department though.
depends where you wanna live.

if you want the worlds largest mall, come to edmonton. = ]
want a decent public aquarium, move to vancouver.
come for decent weather in the summer, and amazing mountains move to british columbia lol.
come for work in the trades, move to northern alberta.
move to see amazing diversity, go to toronto.

canada has some stuff to offer, the US i'm sure has the same, if not better, well in the majority of categories you can think of.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

Things aren't that bad here yet. But if our country falls into a police/military state, children of men/ V for vendetta style, then I'm headed to aussieland to study/conserve the reef :)
