Leave the US to go to Canada? I wouldn't do it. I would much rather leave here to move to Australia again though! They have free health care as well, and theres no year of waiting to see a doctor. I lived there for 3 years and have my permanent residency and have my free health care there too. But I love living in the US and all my family live here.

There's that free health care thing again. Why do some have the impression that it's free?

It is preety much free but depending on your tax bracket you pay something every year when you do your taxes. But its not like you have to pay everytime you see a doctor.

so free is all about perspective? If you go with the instant gratification route, then yes it's free.

I hear in saskatchewan the average wait time for a diagnostic MRI is 22 mo, I hope it's not severe or your ass is grass.

you guys say you have to qualify for it?
everyone get's free health care aslong as you have a health care card for the province you live in.
i've been to the doctor many times, i've never had problems, maybe a 3 to 4 hour wait
that's about it.

scrath that, as long as you have a health care card, you can use you're health care card anywhere

scratch that again lol, in canada haha.

Someone pays for it. It's not free.

As i said before you pay a small amount on your taxes at the end of the year but nothing compared to the states where you have pay outta your pocket everytime you see a doctor.
