What will this baby oscar look like?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It looks like what's called a "copper" Oscar. He should look fairly simular when grown. Tho expect some changes will happen.
This is Toni the day I got her.20170605_181541.jpg
I know not a copper but here she is a year later. The six dots or so per side drastically changed.20180830_170959.jpg
So you can expect the same color, but the marking will change over time.

Wow, she's really good looking. I was actually looking for an albino that would have a similar pattern as yours. Seems like it'd just be guess at this point when buying them so small seeing from your pics. Wish me luck haha.

My oscar as baby, then adult. His mood stripes (ones that change color) have stayed the same since day 1. Granted hes a tiger oscar, the fish in question will look pretty similar as adult.

his marking looks like a runner in mid-stride

Oscars change colors pretty easily. When mine gets mad he fades to a dull grey almost immediately and the orange stripes turn super yellow.

Thats part of the fun is seeing what they will turn into as adults. It wont take but a few months and he'll be a beast
