What will this oscar look like as an adult?

This is one of my new oscars and I'm psyched about it's pattern and color. I've never seen an O with a white belly.

I remember seeing a pic online of a juvie like this one, but no adult picture.... so if anyone has had a juvie that looks like this, can you post a before and after pic? (I know my pics suck... I'm going to join AP to work on that lol)

Oh... that spot in front of his dorsal spine isn't a defect... it's actually the pattern of his dorsal fin continuing onto his head... I'll try to get better pics of that.

Thanks! What really throws me off is the white belly! I've never seen that before... Especially because they shine blue under the 10k bulb...

Oh I plan on keeping it very healthy! He was on the skinny side when I bought him and now his belly is getting round and healthy.

mine wasn't quite as "busy" as yours is but turned out like this.
excuse the HITH and tank it was the 40 i was holding him in for too long. lol

nmice looking tiger tho. feed him that color enhancing stuff. i didn't and regret it.

Oscars are like goldfish or red devils in the sense that their colors and patterns can change completely when adults.

I saved that pic in my 'misc shots' folder lol
