What would be more beneficial?

Thanks for talkin to me about this ive never made a DIY system before. Gonna do that I still think Im gonna put my Dump filter in the center though and I already have two 900GPH Circulation pumps Ill just put those on the oposite end where the intake is not. Probably do a 3'' PVC pipe all the way down the back corner with holes drilled all in it. Painted black also. Like I said Im a wierd perfectionist and sense my filter will be visible above the tank I think It will look much more professional in the center.

The only thing with putting pipes in the center is you will more than likely have dead spots. Not a big problem as long as you don't mind needing powerheads. Check the stickies guaranteed someone has already perfected the setup your looking for.

I searched Couldnt find anything... But heres the thing I already ordered two power heads at 900gph anyway so might as well use em. I still have a few days to decide I just dont know.

Maybe both corners? kinda like T Off at the top have an intake in each corner and have it drain back out the center? Just add a power head on each side just if I need them.

Well it might not be so bad if you do dual intakes (redundancy is good when it comes to overflows). With that being said trial and error is the only way when it comes to diy. However be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS with this new setup until you are 100% sure there are no design flaws. Make sure to simulate power outages and and clogged pipes. There really is a lot to consider pipe size, configuration, actual gph to and from pump (must match), how will you deal with priming the intake.....

Thanks for the encouragement! Should be a good plan I was just concerned about the intake design to gather as much waste as possible. Once it gets up to the 32 gallon tote it will drain down by gravity through dual out puts through two filter socks onto a drip tray down through about 120 pot scrubbers and there will be 4 one inch drain holes at the base of the tote for water to spill out. I figured two would probably do it but just to be safe. What do ya think?
