What would be your choice? **monster shopping**

240 show? ive been wanting one of those to do a room divider/peninsula setup. i think that tank would be wasted on a single monster fish though. too narrow for a big dovii or umbee or wolf. will look empty with just one smaller monster fish. id always envisioned a big community tank in one of those.

Agreed, the 18" width really kills possibilities... would rather got 29" wide and 18" tall instead..,

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. What about some angels, severums, bichirs?

Or remove the bichirs and add a ton of rainbowfish, plants etc.

These are the 2 I'm thinking of getting .

Both acrylic,
8' x 30" tall x 18" wide
And
36" x 16" tall x 14" wide

300.00 for both.

I'd say nothing bigger than what you'd keep in a 75, the width is the limit. Maybe 10" tops? It chokes your selection a bit but smaller fish in a large tank gives a great aesthetic :)

I ended up getting the 8fter. Couldn't pass it up. Currently buildimg the stand and awaiting for plumbing to arrive.

I'm going to start with putting my angels, severums, corys, rainbowfish and banjo cat in there. After that, perhaps some clown loaches etc.. Maybe even a couple african butterfly fish???

Cool! If you get butterflies add a lid and some floating plants, they'll thank you for it :)

It does have lids, and no other cutouts on top... I actually plan to plant the tank quite a bit as well. Should be nice.
