Backyard pond with viewing window in basement :-)

I picture it in my mind like Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.

I have a similar design With 3 large tropical ponds that are connected by shallow water ways for smaller fish to dwell in. The ponds would but up against a sunken patio with large viewing windows. probably 5-7 ft. tall. I even have sketched and concept-ed the whole design out. I sadly feel really grounded in the Midwest and don't think this will ever come to fruition unless I buy a vacation house in Florida or something(I'm young so there is time, maybe...)

My dream aquarium I'm drawing close to and its more of a room(basement), a lounge style room with soft recessed can lights and 3 large aquariums(in the walls) 2-300 gallon tanks and a 1,200 gallon tank in the middle. The tanks wouldn't have so many giant monster fish as just lots of smaller fish. I feel like tanks don't feel big with big fish in them. The 1,200 gallon would be a african cichlid tank and then a 300 gallon planted discus tank and a 300 gallon assorted oddball brackish tank. Thats the dreams I got right now.

i would have a a 2,000 gallon midas, jags, xiloaensis,gt's, red devils, any of the vieja species and many more aggresive and rare cichlid...
